Models line up for growth

The forthcoming 'Modelus 2000 - modelling for a sustainable development 2000' in Estoril, Portugal, on 11 to 13 October will look at the role of modelling in the supervision of industrial or environmental processes.
Modelling project results in a variety of sectors, including air quality, coastal water pollution and combustion based industrial processes will all be discussed in an attempt to provide a cross fertilisation of ideas. It will be focused on both environmental and industry issues, with meetings established to cover both.
The organisers have made a call for contributions and for meetings for the conference. A summary of 500 words should be sent by e-mail by those wishing to make contributions before 30 September, while those wanting to set up bespoke meetings should contact the organisers with details.
