Interdisciplinarity in European technology assessment

A conference on 'implementation and limits of interdisciplinarity in European technology assessment will be held in Bad Neuenahr, Germany, from 13 to 15 September 2000.
The conference will focus on the realisation of interdisciplinarity in different technology assessment (TA) methods and in different fields of application.
There will be three sessions:
- Methodological aspects of interdisciplinarity in technology assessment;
- From interdisciplinarity to transdisciplinary validity;
- Interdisciplinarity in technology assessment (case studies).
The event is supported by the Research Directorate-General's Human Potential programme and organised by Europäische Akademie zur Erforschung von Folgen wissenschaftlich-technischer Entwicklungen Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler GmbH.
