French and Latin American researchers to collaborate?

A French-Latin American industrial research fair is to be held in Saint-Etienne, France from 7 to 9 March 2001.
The aim of the fair is to expand contacts between researchers and SMEs in France and Latin America in order to encourage SMEs to develop their understanding of Latin American industry. The fair will also allow researchers to obtain a better understanding of the speakers' needs, and to redirect some of their research to areas relevant to the speakers.
The programme will include a conference on the transfer of technology and joint investment, round tables headed by Carlier (ONUDI), Charas (CCI Saint-Etienne), H. Nicolas (ENSME) and Gerard Chuzel (CIRAD) and the opportunity to visit research laboratories in the Rhone Alps region.For further information, please contact:
