Working for change in Paris

'Change at work 2000-2010' is the theme of the French presidency event on 18 and 19 December in Paris, which will aim to analyse the development of the workplace environment.
Some of the issues that the event will tackle include the following
- the issues at stake for employment in the new globalised, modern industrial growth driven economy
- how are businesses tackling innovation and non-material investments?
- what is the role of those involved in change and the social dialogue which accompanies it?
The seminar, which will be one of the last events of the French presidency of the European Union, will include a number of workshops providing further analysis, after the first day's discussions involving representatives of all the major interested parties (public and private sectors, researchers, consultants, etc).
