Joint ITS congress and exhibition

The European ITS congress, Bilbao2001, which will focus on the perspectives of medium-sized cities, their transport and mobility issues and solutions will take place between 20 and 23 June 2001, in the presence of representatives from the European Commission and Council of Ministers, industry, academia and public interest groups.
The organisers are inviting contributions on relevant subjects (full details are available on the Bilbao2001 website - see below). Interested parties are also invited to present their products, solutions, projects and services in the exhibition.
City authorities, solution providers, service operators and user representatives will collaborate in small, targeted sessions, where everyone can share their concerns, views and experiences. Congress and exhibition will be uniquely integrated, linking presentations and workshops with actual ITS solutions. The event will also include crash courses on a range of new ITS and communication technologies.
