Urban water management workshop

An international workshop on 'policies for urban water management' will take place in Athens on 28 November 2000. The event is being organised by the University of the Aegean in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens and Athens Water Supply and Sewerage Company (EYDAP).
The workshop is part of the dissemination activities of the completed 'metropolitan areas & sustainable use of water' project carried out under the Fourth Framework Programme, socio-economic research for the environment. Internationally acclaimed experts in water conservation and urban water management will attend the workshop, along with Athens' water managers and researchers. The aim of the workshop is to present the latest international innovative developments in the fields of water demand management, distribution losses control and strategic planning.For further information, please contact:
