UK gives intro to IST

Both those who are newcomers to the European Union's Information Society Technologies (IST) programmes as well as those experienced in the programme will be catered for at the forthcoming 'UK information day 'An introduction to the IST programme' on 25 January 2001 in London.
Organised by UKISHELP (UK information society help), the one-day event will be spent helping participants to understand funding opportunities, defining the opportunities that best suit their business needs, discussing the optimum ways of obtaining funding and investigating how collaborative efforts could assist in looking for innovative solutions.
Presentations will be given by both representatives of UKISHELP and of companies that have been involved with the IST programme.
