French NCP holds 'Quality of life info day

The French National Contact Point (INRA-INSERM) for the European Commission's 'Quality of Life and Management of Living Resources' programme is organising an information day on 15 December 2000, following the publication of a call for proposals on 15 November 2000. The event will be held in University René Descartes, 12, Rue de l'Ecole de Médecine à Paris (6ème).
During the morning, Etienne Magnien, head of the Commission's programme coordination team, will talk about the aims of the programme and, give an overview of the new calls for proposals and of the work programme for 2001 and a presentation of the results from the first two calls.
In the afternoon, there will be presentations of the statistics on the French participation in 1999 and 2000 and the implementation of the European Research Area.
The information day will conclude with a round-table and there will also be time during the discussion for responses to participants' questions.
