Poland hosts international colorectal symposium

The second surgical department of the Military medical university of Lodz in Poland is organising the next International colorectal symposium in Gdynia (by Gdansk) from 20 to 22 June 2001.
Recognised professionals in colorectal surgery from Britain, Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, the USA and Japan will present lectures.
The last colorectal symposium in 1999 attracted some 500 participants from 13 countries. This year, the organisers hope to transform the meeting into the main pan-European colorectal scientific event held in Central and Eastern Europe.
