Help for EU project proposers

Four workshops for FP5 proposers and participants will be held over the next few months by the Innovation Relay Network in Cambridge and Coventry, UK.
'Proposal writing' workshops for the Competitive and Sustainable Growth programme, held on 15 February 2001 and 5 April 2001 in Coventry, an IST workshop will be held in Cambridge on 14 March and 'Managing EC research projects' will be held in Cambridge on 15 March.
All workshops are aimed at those preparing an RTD proposal for submission to the European Commission. They will explain the evaluation process and criteria, the content required in the main sections of the proposal, examples of good and bad practice and presentation tips. The administrative rules used buy the Commission will also be covered. The workshops will help both newcomers writing their first proposal, and experienced proposers trying to increase their success rate. The workshop will demonstrate how to communicate ideas clearly, address evaluation criteria and avoid common pitfalls.
