Digital content: from convergence to consolidation

A conference organized by the European Commission's Information Society DG and held in Brussels on 7 March will focus on the IST (information society technologies) diffuse project.
The conference will explore how European Commission supported Information Society research and technology development (RTD) projects are addressing the harmonization of digital content, and explain the vital role that standardization efforts play in achieving the shared goal of information access to all.
