An Ecolife workshop, funded under the European Commission's Brite-Euram programme, will take place on the subject of the state of the art in ecodesign of electr(on)ic products on 5 March in Brussels.

Organised by the Austrian society for systems engineering and automation, the workshop will include speeches and presentations from representatives of the European Commission's DG Enterprise and DG Environment, as well as from a number of leading private sector firms.

One of the areas the event will look at is the ability of the electr(on)ics industry to meet the demands of EU environmental legislation in the sector.
