NavSat 2001, a forum for discussion of applications related to satellite, navigation and positioning will take place on 13 to 15 November in Nice Acropolis, France.

The event is being supporting by the European Commission's Transport and Energy DG, ESA (European Space Agency), CNES (Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales), Galileo Industries, GSS (Galileo Sistemas y Servicios), METL (Ministère de l'Equipement, des Transports et du Logement) and THALES Avionics.

The event will consist of a commercial exhibition, a conference convention with plenary and 'applications' systems (a call for papers is open until 26 February), a fair devoted to the most innovative applications and a distribution forum for finding commercial outlets.

NavSat 2001 will be of particular interest for those involved in the design, development, operation or commercialisation of relevant products and services.
