Bridging the gap: sustainability research and sectoral integration

A conference on 'bridging the gap - sustainability research and sectoral integration' will be held in Stockholm from 9 to 11 May 2001. It will be hosted by the Swedish government and jointly organised by the Swedish environmental protection agency, the European Commission, the European environment agency (EEA) and the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC).

The conference is geared towards European and national decision makers in government, research and education; researchers; managers, strategic planners and science policy makers in various sectors; environmental experts; non-governmental organisations; and media and communication specialists.
