Oxford university is holding a free conference for academic scientists working in research, industry or academia on 23 July 2001. It aims to provide women scientists with information about career options in science which combine research and teaching with the opportunity to work in a university such as Oxford.

The conference aims to encourage and support anyone lecturing and looking for career enhancement, or considering making a move from research to teaching.

The conference will consist of a day-long seminar and optional evening event.

Places are limited and early booking essential, say the organisers.
