Strengthening Euro-China IST cooperation

A forum aiming to strengthen ties between European companies and Chinese organisations in the information society field will be held in Beijing, China on 16 to 20 April 2002.
Attending the opening ceremony will be European Commissioner for Enterprise and Innovation, Erkki Liikanen, Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Zhu Lilan and Chinese Minister of information Industry Wu Jichuan.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend free coaching sessions in Brussels in February 2002, which will provide attendees with information and advice on developing commercial relations with Chinese partners.
