A European partnering event focusing on the 'cell factory', supported by the European Commission under the Fifth Framework programme's Quality of life programme and to be held in Hamburg, Germany on 9 October will offer support to enterprises exploiting the results of their EU funded projects.

CELLEXPLOIT is being organised by the Steinbeis-Europa-Zentrum, the TechnologieStiftung Hesse GmbH, the NATI Technologieagentur Niedersachsen GmbH, St John's Innovation Centre from Cambridge and the CCI Rhône-Alpes from Lyon together with the IRC Network Thematic Group Biotechnology.

In addition to a technology market, the event also aims to offer a platform for young entrepreneurs, start-ups and spin-offs to present their ideas and contact potential clients and investors in an international high tech environment. Presentations of projects funded by the Community will also be given.

The event will be of particular interest to SMEs, including both producers and end users as well as research institutions and scientists in the fields of diagnostics, medicine, food, environment and pharmaceutical technologies. For further information, please contact:
