Designed as a know-how-transfer institution for research results into practice, a three week summer university programme running from 3 until 20 September in Eisenerz, Austria, will centre around learning for the regional future. Summer university will be followed by an International Symposium, on 21 to 23 September, will focus on the shift for the information to the knowledge society.
Week one of the summer university will deal with cross border projects, week two with investments from the international to the enterprise level, particularly within the EU and week three with networking through the linking of people.
The international symposium focusing on the effects of the shift from the information to the knowledge society, will devote particular attention to the diffusion of innovations and the empowerment of regions by strengthening their local potentials.For further information, please consult the following web address:
