Information day: joint dedicated call on endocrine disruptors

The European Commission's Research Directorate General is organising an information day on 22 June 2001 in Brussels, concerning the launch of a dedicated call on endocrine disrupting compounds. The call, which is expected to be published in the Official Journal on 31 May 2001, is jointly launched by the Quality of life programme (QoL) and the Energy, environment and sustainable development (EESD) programme.

Objectives of the information day will be to present to the scientific community the topics covered by the call and to provide opportunities for networking among potential proposers.

Although there is no registration fee; the Commission will not award any subsidy for participation. Every effort will be undertaken to accept all persons wishing to participate. However, the meeting room can host only about 150 participants. In the event of over-subscription, registration will be accepted on a first to come-first to serve basis.

Participants must first express their interest by completing and returning the registration form via e-mail. The Commission will inform applicants of the acceptance of their application, together with more detailed information on the agenda and on the local arrangements.
