EU forum: environment and innovation

Around 150 participants from all over Europe are expected to attend the EU forum 'Technology and Politics: Environment and Innovation', to be hosted by two of Europe's leading associations of engineers on 26 June in the European Parliament.
The German Association of Engineers (VDI) and the Association of Consulting Engineers (VBI) aims to help participants find their bearings in the maze of European environmental activities.
Representatives from the European Parliament, the European Commission and speakers from consulting and research entities will give advice on how to develop successful EU funded projects.
Speakers will also introduce engineering firms and industry to the future development of European environmental policy.
