22 June 2001 - 22 June 2001

Scotland will host three half day workshops on funding for EU IT projects in Inverness, Dundee and Glasgow on 11, 21 and 22 June respectively.

The workshops have been organised by the Innovation Relay Centre (IRC), Scotland and Scottish Enterprise in association with UKISHELP, the National Contact Point (NCP) supporting UK participants in the EU programme for Information Society Technologies.

Peter Walters from UKISHELP will introduce the Information Society programme. Participants will also learn about the 100 million euro e-content programme and the 20 million euro TEN-Telecom programme. One to one sessions with Mr Walters will also be arranged, where attendees can discuss specific projects, ideas and issues.

The event will highlight how to participate in projects as well as the benefits of doing so, the application process and what to expect in terms of results. A locally based participant will also describe their experiences as a partner.
