A two-day conference is being organized by ERA technology as an extension to BRITE/EURAM research projects on the life assessment of industrial components and structures. The conference will be held in Cambridge (UK) from 30 September to 1 October 1993 and is supported by the European Commission's VALUE programme. Life assessment technology aims at improved design, performance and optimized maintenance of industrial components and structures. This research is driven by industrial needs to achieve more effective designs offering integrity assurance for specified lifetimes, lifetime management aimed at minimizing maintenance costs, safety and reliability issues, and economies associated with life-extension strategies.
The main purpose of the conference is to provide a platform for the dissemination of results from the BRITE/EURAM projects throughout Europe and worldwide.For additional information, please contact:
