The European association of research managers and administrators (EARMA) has organised two courses for research managers, to take place in Brussels on 19 and 20 September.

'How to negotiate, manage, administer and finish an EU R&D contract' will take place on 19 September. Seminars will be based on experiences from the management of 30 EU R&D projects and on the requirements of the Fifth Framework programme.

'How to write a technology implementation plan' will be held on 20 September. The aim of the course is to train research managers in writing a technology implementation plan (TIP) Fifth Framework programme contracts. In these contracts the Technology Implementation Plan will be a contractual requirement to describe the exploitation plans of the consortium members.For further information on the courses, please consult the following web addresses:
