JET opens its doors to the press

A press day at the JET (Joint European Torus) facility in Oxford, UK on 19 September has been announced. The event has been organised as a joint JET and EFDA (European fusion development agreement) press day, and will include a tour of the facilities, details on results and three separate sessions followed by a working lunch with the site's researchers.

The three specific sessions will focus on socio-economic and environmental issues; remote participation and ITER (international thermonuclear experimental reactor).
