German conference to examine impact of genomics research on human disease

A multidisciplinary conference entitled 'From Genomes to cures' will take place from 16 to 18 November 2001 in Heidelberg, Germany.
The conference, organised by the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO) and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), will examine the scientific and social impact of genomics research on the treatment and cure of human disease. The event aims to provide a platform for dialogue between the stakeholders involved.
