Greece to host IST summit

The IST (information society technologies) mobile and wireless technologies summit 2002 will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece from 16 to 19 June 2002.
The event, the eleventh of its kind, will focus on national, European and international research programmes and the developments expected from them. The IST programme of the European Union's Fifth Framework programme will receive particular focus, as many of its projects are in the final year and are close to having demonstrable results.
As well as researchers and academics private sector representation, the event organisers want to ensure that a good proportion of non-European participants are present, in order to showcase the results.For further information, please consult the following web address:
