CoR workshop investigates building partnerships in the information society

The information society will be the topic of the Committee of the Regions' (CoR) first workshop for regional representations in Brussels, to be held in Brussels on 14 December.
A survey among the representations carried out by the CoR revealed a particular interest in the information society and related projects. The workshop will focus on how to build partnerships between regions, cities and organisations in this field.
The workshop will hear presentations from European Commission representatives and seven regions that have developed successful projects relating to the information society. Local and regional representatives will also have the opportunity to inform their counterparts about projects in their area.For further information, please consult the following web address:
