Paris to host forum on research, innovation and technologies management
The forum is being organised by economics web site Les Echos in partnership with the French Ministries for research and for economy, finances and industry. It is being supported by the French innovation agency Anvar, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, France Telecom R&D, Partech International SA, Lucent Technologies, CNRS and Inra, among others.
Speakers at the conference will include European Research Commissioner Philippe Busquin, French economy, finance and industry Minister, Laurent Fabius and French Minister for research, Roger-Gérard Schwartzenberg. Directors of large enterprises and public research organisations, along with researchers and consultants, will also attend.
The event will address a variety of issues, including:
- Research and innovation at the heart of international competition;
- Towards a European research area
- Partnerships between public research and enterprises
- Collaboration and partnerships in the R&D (research and development) and innovation process
- Evaluation and management of R&D investments
- Development of research and innovation human capital
