Commission seminar to examine small business support services

A European Commission seminar on 'Support services for micro, small and sole proprietor's businesses' will take place on the 11 and 12 April in Vienna, Austria.
The seminar is being jointly organised by the Commission's Enterprise DG and the Austrian institute for small business research (IfGH).
It will aim to build on the findings of a study carried out by the IfGH for the European Commission, and will look into other research on the topic. It will examine the crucial areas in meeting the specific needs of the smallest enterprises with a view to identifying areas of discrepancy between the demand for and supply of support services.
The seminar will be structured around three workshops - awareness and visibility of support services, types of support services provided and demanded, and delivery mechanisms of support services.For further information and registration, please consult the following web address:
