Innovative regions to be recognised at European forum for innovative enterprises

Innovative regions will be rewarded at the third European forum for innovative enterprises, organised by the European Commission, in Stockholm, Sweden on 8 and 9 April 2002.
The forum will highlight the experience of PAXIS (pilot action of excellence of innovative start-ups) areas of excellence, of European cities and of internationally recognised innovation specialists, and will focus on local aspects of start-up creation.
The conference will address the opportunities that current economic developments are providing for start-ups, the ways in which universities can influence economic growth and what is needed to make cities favourable business environments.
Awards of excellence for innovative regions will be presented at the event and PAXIS projects and networks will be presented at an exhibition of video and interactive presentations.For further information, please consult the following web address:
