A workshop on 'Europe, USA, Asia - business opportunities for medium sized enterprises,' organised by the VDI/VDE-IT (a corporation of the Association of German engineers (VDI) and the Association for electrical, electronic and information technologies (VDE), will take place in Hanover on 17 April.

'Medium-sized companies with innovative products, for example microsystems technology, can profit in many ways from international contacts. In addition to the opening up of new markets, internationalisation also introduces the opportunity of worldwide cooperation, for example in R&D [research and development], service and production,' says the VDI/VDE-IT.

International experts will talk about their experiences and discuss the opportunities in the international microsystems technology marketplace from the perspective of the medium-sized enterprise. The event will aim to answer questions such as 'which markets are worth entering?' and 'how can one do business successfully in Asia and the USA with a limited budget?'

Experts from Germany, the USA and Japan will discuss market trends in the three countries, offer advice on entry into markets and highlight strategies for internationalisation. Medium-sized company representatives will present success stories in the field of international cooperation. For further information, please contact:
