Seminar to examine SMEs in Europe

A seminar on 'Reporting cross-border business: small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe' will take place in Maastricht, the Netherlands, on 27 and 28 May.
The course, organised by the European Journalism Centre (EJC) and Europartner NRW, will give participants the opportunity to brush up on European policy for the economic development of SMEs, swap story ideas with colleagues from other European countries and expand their network of contacts.
The draft programme includes presentations from Rob van der Horst, Director of the European Network for SME Research, Karl George Doutlik, SME adviser at the European Commission's Enterprise DG and Virginia Mercouri from CORDIS, the European Commission's Research and Development Information Service.For further information and to register, please contact:
