Busquin to attend Polish FP6 event

EU Research Commissioner, Philippe Busquin, will be attending an event in Warsaw, Poland, which aims to promote the Sixth Framework programme (FP6) in eastern and central European countries on 25 and 26 November.

The event will explain the details of the programme, including the rules of participation. It will also focus on the thematic priorities and provide information on the first calls as well as the role of candidate countries in the programme.

As well as looking forward to FP6, there will also be analysis of central and eastern European countries' participation in the previous Framework programme. FP5.

Taking place in parallel will be a ministerial meeting entitled 'Central and eastern Europe in the ERA [European research area]', which will attempt to promote the participation of these countries in the ERA.For further information, please contact:
