New call for proposals to be discussed at eTEN event

An information day on the new eTEN call for proposals will take place in Brussels on 4 July 2002.
eTEN falls under the Community programme TEN-Telecom, which aims to promote the deployment of telecommunication network-based services (e-services) across Europe in several areas of common interest.
The eTEN Call for proposals is to be launched at the end of June with a budget of around 12 million euro. This European Commission event will present and discuss the 2002 eTEN work programme and application procedures.
Registration is on the first-come first-served basis.
