Austria to host satellite navigation conference

The Austrian Institute of Navigation (OVN) will host the seventh international global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) conference in Graz, Austria, from 22 to 25 April 2003.

The Austrian Institute of Navigation (OVN) will host the seventh international global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) conference in Graz, Austria, from 22 to 25 April 2003.

In addition to GNSS, the conference will cover other navigations systems such as Loran-C, GSM/UMTS positioning and autonomous navigation. Discussions will focus on present and future developments in navigation systems, with particular emphasis on the Galileo satellite navigation system.

The event will showcase state-of-the-art technology and innovations in the field of terrestrial and satellite navigation. The implementation of new technologies in navigation will be illustrated by an industry exhibition which will run parallel to the conference.
