Polish event to focus on technology transfer for food technologies

A transnational technology transfer and information day on food technologies, organised by three Innovation relay centres (IRCs), a regional Polish National contact point (NCP) for the Sixth Framework programme (FP6) and the Consortia for agri-food in Europe will take place in Poznan, Poland on 13 September.
The event will comprise of prearranged bilateral meetings between representatives from food industry SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) and research organisations, presentations of innovative technologies in the agri-food sector and a seminar on 'Innovation in food industry'.
The event organisers wish to provide the opportunity for industry and research organisations to obtain information on EU programmes and projects supporting research and innovation, particularly in 'food safety' one of the thematic priorities for FP6.
The event will take place during 'Polagra-Food 2002', an international trade fair for the food industry and the biggest of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe.For further information, please consult the following web address:
