Conference to focus on standardisation for pressure equipment

The European committee for standardisation will hold an international conference on pressure equipment, supported by the European pressure equipment research council (EPERC) and in association with the European Commission's Enterprise DG, in Brussels on 19 and 20 November.
The purpose of the conference is to further understanding of the new European standards for pressure equipment and specifically EN 13445 for unfired pressure vessels.
Although the conference will focus on unfired pressure vessels, many of the principles and procedures of the standards for other types of equipment are covered by the principles relating to unfired pressure vessels. Issues relating to other product standards will therefore also be discussed where appropriate.For further information, please consult the following web address:
