FP6 information conference in Switzerland

Switzerland is holding a conference on the Sixth Framework programme (FP6) in Bern on 6 December.
The event, organised by the Federal office for education and science in collaboration with the Swiss information network on the Framework programmes, will provide information on FP6 and provide an opportunity for interested parties to integrate into existing European research networks.
In particular, the conference will address the Framework programme's new instruments, provisions for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), new areas, particularly in the social sciences and the impact of the Framework programmes in Switzerland. Examples of Swiss participation in the Framework programmes will also be presented.
In addition, a series of seminars will be held in January on the FP6 priority areas of research.For further information, please consult the following web address:
