Biotechnology in FP6 - the regional dimension

A conference on biotechnology and the regional dimension in the Sixth Framework programme (FP6), organised by the Brussels Capital region, the Berlin enterprise representation and the Vienna economic development agency, will take place in Brussels on 25 September.
The day will provide the opportunity for discussion between business representatives, small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), research institutes, universities and experts from the European Commission. Research Commissioner Philippe Busquin and high level representatives from each of the three regions will also attend the event.
Following an analysis of the respective profiles of the three regions regarding biotechnology and a presentation on FP6 and its biotechnology priority, participants will present projects and new ideas.
