Galileo information day postponed to January 2003

The overwhelming level of interest shown by enterprises interested in participating in the Galileo project has led to the postponement of an information day event from October 2002 until January 2003.
The event is being organised by the European Commission and the European space agency (ESA). It will inform enterprises on the development of the programme, how and when concessionaires will be selected and give a description of the services required.
By January 2003, the joint undertaking should also be fully operational, enabling the event to be even more comprehensive and informative. The event will provide for simultaneous translation of all information into French, German and English.For further information, please consult the following web address:
