The European Commission and CERN (European organisation for nuclear research) are holding a workshop for Marie Curie fellows on research and training in physics and technology in Geneva on 3 and 4 October.

The event is part of a series of workshops aimed at raising awareness of science and young researchers, facilitating the interdisciplinary and intersectoral dissemination of knowledge, supporting the training and mobility of researchers throughout Europe and promoting scientific and technological excellence.

This workshop will also provide a showcase for modern physics research, its applications and related technologies, promote the exchange of ideas between Marie Curie fellows, established scientists and the European Commission and to promote science through communication with the public and the media.

The programme includes talks by present and former Marie Curie fellows as well as established scientists.For further information, please contact:
