An information day on details of the Sixth Framework programme (FP6) relating to the Netherlands will take place in Rotterdam on 10 December.

The event will be structured around three themes: plenary sessions addressing the thematic priorities in FP6, the learning zone, consisting of short workshops on practical topics such as project management and intellectual property rights, and special interest sessions, which will address issues such as the European research area (ERA), topics relating to small and medium sized enterprises, the INCO instrument and local government issues.

In addition to the sessions, a number of organisations, including CORDIS and national contact points, will be at hand to offer information on FP6. Presentations on FP5 projects will also be made.

The event will feature speakers from the European Commission (EU Research Commissioner Philippe Busquin has been invited) and others from several technology fields. The day will also offer an opportunity for partner searches, discussions and exchanges of experience and knowledge.For further information, please consult the following web address:
