The Hungarian launch event for the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Budapest on 5 November.

The aim of the event is to present the opportunities offered by the new Framework Programme to experts from academia, industry, research institutes and governmental organisations involved in research and development (R&D).

Commission speakers will introduce the European Research Area (ERA) and the new instruments of the Framework Programme, while national speakers will focus on the thematic priority areas and the horizontal areas such as small and medium sized enterprises, mobility and science and society.

Presentations will also provide details on the national support system, including grants to help Hungarian applicants and the national contact point system.

The event will be hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Hungarian academy of sciences, and organised by the Hungarian science and technology foundation.For further information, please contact:
