Maltese conference to explore collaboration under FP6

The University of Malta's European Unit and the Malta Council of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Malta Business Bureau, are organising a two day launch event for the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) in Malta on 6 and 7 December 2002.
The conference theme will be 'exploring industry-academia synergies in research and innovation'. The event organisers hope that the event will provide useful information on collaboration under FP6 while promoting synergy and enhancing competitiveness.
The event will feature a number of presentations on the opportunities for strengthening industry-academia collaboration. Discussions will involve a diverse group of researchers, experts, policy makers and business representatives from the public and private sectors.For further information, please contact:
