Finland investigates the role of FP6 in the development of ERA

The Finnish secretariat for EU research and development (R&D) will hold a seminar on the role of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) in the realisation of the European Research Area (ERA) in Helsinki on 26 November.
Speakers at the event will include DG Research Director-General Achilleas Mitsos and representatives from various directorates within the DG.
The Finnish Secretariat for EU R&D is also in the process of holding roadshows in major Finnish cities. Each seminar presents basic facts about FP6 and ERA and more detailed information on the new instruments. Each region's main area of competence is being highlighted through presentations on successful EU projects and by presentations by the national contact points.For further information, please visit:
