The University of Genova, Italy, will host an interregional information day on the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) on 18 November.

The event, organised in collaboration with the Italian Agency for the promotion of European research, APRE, will present the objectives and priorities of FP6, explain the rules for participation and introduce the new instruments: integrated projects and networks of excellence.

Speakers will focus in particular on the thematic priority areas relating to genomics and biotechnology, sustainable development and global change and information society technologies. The issue of mobility will also be in the spotlight.

Speakers include officials from the European Commission's Research DG and representatives from the Italian Ministry of Research.For further information, please contact:
