The European Commission's Information Society DG, in cooperation with the EU funded accompanying measure TRIS, is organising an exploitation event aimed at promoting and fostering the exploitation of the results of 25 take-up trials. The event will be held on 13 and 14 February 2003, in Luxembourg

TRIS is an EU funded accompanying measure coordinating 25 EU funded trial projects to increase their impact and exploit their results. Involving more than 80 cultural institutions, mainly libraries, museums, archives, all over Europe, the trial projects are stimulating the implementation of innovative products and services in the cultural heritage sector by experimenting with, and testing the application of existing technologies in the cultural field. The event will conclude two years of TRIS.

The conference aims to promote the trials' results and their future exploitation. By the time of the event in February, most of the trial projects will have completed their activities and they will be in an ideal position to showcase their results and to promote them for replication and exploitation.For more details and a draft agenda of the event visit:
