EUROSFAIRE, the French service for access to information on European research, will host an event to present French language information resources for the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) on 13 December in Paris.

The event will take place at the National College of Chemistry in Paris (ENSCP), and is open to anyone with an interest in EU research, such as public and private sector researchers, teachers, lawyers, and communications and finance specialists.

The French network of 14 national contact points (NCPs) will be present at the event, and will give individual presentations on the objectives and strategies for research in their specialist fields.

The EUROSFAIRE webmasters will present their site to delegates, alongside the NCP web pages and other sites such as COST, EUREKA and CRI. Representatives from CORDIS (community research and development information service) will also give an interactive presentation of their site, and will be available to answer questions.

Other highlights in the programme include the opening of the event by a representative of the Minister for Research and New Technologies, and a presentation of the resources, management tools and follow up mechanisms for FP6 by head of the European Affairs Department of the Ministry of Research, Michel Gaillard. For further information and registration, please consult the following web address:
