Lithuania launches FP6

The Lithuanian Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) launch event will take place in Vilnius on 24 February.

Lithuania's Minister for Science and Education will open the event. Additional speakers will include representatives from the European Commission, CORDIS and previous project participants.

The event will address the following issues:
- the objectives, structure and budget of FP6;
- integrated projects;
- networks of excellence;
- traditional instruments;
- submission and evaluation procedures;
- intellectual property issues within FP6;
- training and mobility;
- CORDIS and partnering services;
- ERA-NET;
- EUREKA;
- lessons learnt from FP5
