Transport research under FP6 - information day in Paris

The French national contact point for the sustainable surface transport thematic priority area of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) is organising an information day in Paris on 20 January.
The event seeks to inform and advise researchers on the process of participating in the first calls for proposals published on 17 December 2002. It is aimed at project coordinators and scientists who have ideas for initiatives for European co-financing, and representatives from small and medium sized enterprises who would like more information on submitting proposals for FP6.
Experts from the European Commission will attend the event in order to offer advice and discuss ideas for projects. Participants will also have the opportunity to examine synergies between the French interministerial land transport research and innovation programme and transport activities under FP6, for example in the field of road safety.
